By accessing our website, booking a tour, purchasing a self-guided experience, or using our concierge or destination management services, you agree to the terms described below.

Mystic Experience Co is a small family-owned hospitality company based in Mystic, Connecticut. Our goal is to provide memorable experiences for visitors while maintaining clear and fair policies that protect both our guests and our business.

2. Services Covered by These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Mystic Experience Co, including:

• Guided walking tours
• Self-guided walking tours accessed through mobile applications
• Concierge services and local recommendations
• Destination management and trip planning services
• Website interactions and booking inquiries
Some services may be provided directly by Mystic Experience Co while others may involve recommendations or bookings with third-party businesses.
3. Booking and Payment
Reservations for tours or services may be made through our website or through third-party booking platforms.
Mystic Experience Co may utilize platforms such as:

• FareHarbor
• TripAdvisor
• Viator
• Airbnb
Payments are processed securely through the booking platform used at the time of purchase.
By completing a reservation, guests confirm that the information provided is accurate and that they have the authority to make the booking.
4. Guided Tour Participation
Participation in guided walking tours requires the ability to walk moderate distances along sidewalks, streets and public pathways.
Guests acknowledge that:

• walking tours may include uneven sidewalks or pavement
• some areas may include stairs or inclines
• tours take place in public spaces with normal urban conditions
Not all tours may be accessible for individuals with mobility limitations.
Guests participate at their own risk and should exercise reasonable care during the experience.
Mystic Experience Co is not responsible for injuries resulting from normal walking conditions.
Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable footwear and dress appropriately for weather conditions.
5. Self-Guided Tours
Mystic Experience Co may provide self-guided tours through mobile applications.
Self-guided tours allow guests to explore Mystic at their own pace using audio narration, maps and location-based content.
Guests participating in self-guided tours acknowledge that:

• they are responsible for their own navigation
• they are responsible for their own safety
• they are responsible for following traffic laws and local regulations
Mystic Experience Co does not supervise participants during self-guided tours and is not responsible for accidents, injuries or incidents that may occur while using these services.
6. Concierge Services
Mystic Experience Co may offer concierge services that include recommendations or assistance arranging activities, dining reservations or local experiences.
These services are provided as a courtesy to help guests enjoy their visit to Mystic.

While we strive to provide helpful and accurate recommendations, Mystic Experience Co is not responsible for the services, policies or actions of third-party businesses recommended through concierge services.

Any reservations made with outside businesses are subject to the terms and policies of those businesses.
7. Destination Management and Trip Planning Services
Mystic Experience Co may offer destination management or trip planning services designed to help visitors plan their time in Mystic.
These services may include:
​
• customized travel itineraries
• recommendations for restaurants and activities
• planning assistance for groups or events
• suggestions for local experiences
Mystic Experience Co does not operate or control third-party venues, restaurants, hotels or attractions that may be included in recommendations.
Guests understand that any reservations or purchases made with those businesses are governed by their own policies and agreements.
8. Age Policy
Most guided tours offered by Mystic Experience Co are suitable for guests of all ages when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Children must remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian throughout the experience.
The Mystic Moonlight Social Tour includes visits to establishments that serve alcohol.
Guests must be 21 years or older to purchase or consume alcohol and may be required to present valid identification.
9. Alcohol Policy
The Mystic Moonlight Social Tour may include visits to bars or establishments that serve alcoholic beverages.
Please note:

• valid government-issued identification may be required
• participating establishments reserve the right to refuse alcohol service
• Mystic Experience Co does not control alcohol service decisions
Mystic Experience Co is not responsible for alcohol consumption or guest behavior related to alcohol service.
Guests are expected to drink responsibly and behave respectfully during the experience.
10. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Mystic Experience Co strives to maintain fair and flexible policies while honoring commitments made to guides and hospitality partners.

Mystic Coastal Culinary Tour

Because these experiences involve restaurant reservations and hospitality partners:
​
• cancellations made 24 hours or more before the tour start time receive a full refund
• cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable
• no-shows are non-refundable
Mystic Discovery Walk
Mystic Golden Hour Photography Tour
Mystic Art & Inspiration Walk

• cancellations made 12 hours or more before the tour start time receive a full refund
• cancellations within 12 hours are non-refundable
• no-shows are non-refundable
Guests experiencing unexpected circumstances are encouraged to contact us and we will do our best to assist when possible.
11. Minimum Guest Requirements
Some tours require a minimum number of participants in order to operate.

• Mystic Discovery Walk — minimum 4 guests
• Mystic Moonlight Social Tour — minimum 4 guests
• Mystic Golden Hour Photography Tour — minimum 6 guests
• Mystic Art & Inspiration Walk — minimum 6 guests
If minimum attendance is not met, Mystic Experience Co may cancel the tour and offer either:

• a full refund
• or the option to reschedule.
12. Weather Policy
Tours operate rain or shine.
Light rain or typical coastal weather conditions generally do not result in cancellations.
However, tours may be cancelled or rescheduled in the event of hazardous weather including:
​
• lightning
• severe thunderstorms
• hurricanes or tropical storms
• tornado warnings
• flooding or dangerous winds
If Mystic Experience Co cancels a tour due to unsafe weather, guests will receive either a full refund or the option to reschedule.
13. Late Arrivals
Tours begin promptly at the scheduled start time.
Guests are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early.
Late arrivals may miss portions of the experience and may not be able to join the group once the tour has begun.
Late arrivals and missed tours are not eligible for refunds.
14. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward:

• tour guides
• fellow guests
• participating businesses
• members of the public
Mystic Experience Co reserves the right to remove guests from a tour if behavior is disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate.
Guests removed due to misconduct are not eligible for refunds.
15. Photography and Media
Mystic Experience Co may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional and marketing purposes.
These materials may be used on:

• our website
• social media platforms
• marketing materials
• advertising
Guests who prefer not to appear in photographs or videos may notify the guide at the start of the tour.
16. Intellectual Property
All tour content created by Mystic Experience Co is protected intellectual property.
This includes:
​
• tour scripts
• audio narration
• digital tour content
• photography and videos
• branding and marketing materials
These materials may not be reproduced, distributed or used without written permission.
17. Limitation of Liability
Mystic Experience Co is not responsible for:
​
• personal injury resulting from normal walking conditions
• lost or stolen personal belongings
• services provided by third-party businesses
• travel delays affecting tour attendance
Guests participate voluntarily and assume responsibility for their own safety.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
Any disputes related to services provided by Mystic Experience Co shall be handled within the jurisdiction of Connecticut courts.
